Placing QTS-qualified British teachers, school leaders, and educational specialists in CIS, NEASC, BSO, and COBIS-accredited international schools across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
Saudi Arabia has over 3.4 million students in international and private schools, and the sector is expanding rapidly under Vision 2030. The Kingdom's goal to attract 150 million tourists and establish Riyadh as a global city has driven massive investment in internationally accredited education infrastructure.
International schools across Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, and NEOM increasingly require CIS, NEASC, BSO, and COBIS-accredited status — and this accreditation is impossible without a faculty of qualified British or internationally certified teachers.
Cambridge Talent Consultancy works exclusively with QTS-qualified British teachers who are DBS-checked, fully referenced, and experienced in delivering internationally recognised curricula. We understand what Saudi international schools need — and we deliver it.
Saudi Arabia's National Centre for Assessment (ETEC) regulates international school qualifications and teacher credentials. NEASC is an approved accreditor with ETEC in KSA. All teachers we place are guided through the ETEC recognition process by our consultants.
The accreditation body a school holds determines the quality of the educational environment and the professional standing of the teachers it employs. We place into schools holding the highest international accreditations.
CIS is the world leader in international school accreditation, partnering with NEASC, WASC, and MSA. CIS accreditation is the most internationally recognised credential an overseas school can hold. Saudi Arabia's premier international schools seek CIS status.
NEASC is an approved accreditor with ETEC (National Centre for Assessment) in Saudi Arabia and coordinates directly with Saudi authorities. NEASC accreditation sets Foundation Standards covering curriculum, leadership, qualified faculty, and safeguarding — all of which require QTS teachers.
The British Schools Overseas (BSO) programme, run by the UK Department for Education, provides inspection and certification for British schools overseas. BSO-inspected schools advertising a "British character" must meet rigorous UK government standards — including employment of QTS-qualified teachers.
COBIS represents British international schools globally. COBIS Accreditation and Compliance scheme is the primary route to membership. COBIS also accepts BSO inspections, CIS, WASC and NEASC as qualification routes. In 2025, COBIS was recognised by Japan's Ministry of Education.
IB World School status allows schools to offer the IB Diploma Programme (DP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Primary Years Programme (PYP). Saudi Arabia's IB schools are expanding rapidly and need IB-trained and experienced British and international teachers.
Many Saudi international schools market themselves as offering an "Ofsted-inspected" standard. Cambridge Talent Consultancy carefully distinguishes between genuine Ofsted-equivalent inspections (BSO programme) and other inspection types — ensuring we source teachers appropriate to each school's accreditation status.
